HOD Message:

The Department of Computer Engineering at D.Y. Patil College of Engineering was established in the year 2011 with an intake of 60 for UG course. The department was grown to take the additional intake of 60 for UG Direct Second Year and PG course with specialization Computer Engineering with intake of 24 in the year 2012. The department is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The department has well equipped state of the art 10 laboratories which include research laboratory with latest hardware and software configuration for conducting various practical as well as we have highly qualified and experienced faculty to nurture the future technocrats of the nation.

We are committed to academic excellence along with grooming the overall personality of the students. For this the department has formed the Computer Engineering Student Association (CESA). Under this 10 students clubs actively running like Software Training Club, IOT/Robotics Club, Aptitude Club, Personality Development Club, Entrepreneurship Club, GATE/GRE/TOEFL Club, Civil Services Club, Cultural Activity Club, Arts and Crafts club, Debate Club etc.

DYPCOE is an institutional membership of CSI. Under this platform, we conduct different workshops, seminars and trainings regularly.

The Department of Computer Engineering welcomes potential students, faculty and well-wishers to engage with us. We are dedicated to excellence in research and teaching. We focus on doing basic research and solving important problems in the core and emerging areas of computer engineering, as well as important problems of the world. We provide our students a challenging and well-rounded training, and prepare them to be able to innovate, solve problems, and take on an important role in the career of their choice.

We are looking forward for the overall growth of department by attracting bright minds at all levels.
